Mario Draghi is an Italian banker and the economist. On Nov 11, 2011, he was made the president of European Central Bank. Formerly, he was the governor of bank of Italy. The roman man earned his graduation from La Sapienza University of Rome and perceived his PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also served as a full time professor at the University of Florence for ten years and in the year 1984, he was appointed as the Italian Executive Director at the World Bank for 6 years. He became the Director General of the Italian Treasury in 1991 and served the office for ten years. Earlier, he was associated with many banks and corporations. He chaired the board that amended the Italian corporate and financial legislation and summarized the law that oversees Italian fiscal markets.
