Carol Bartz the CEO of Yahoo! stepped down in September 2011, owing to her inability to turnaround the company from its steep fall. Yahoo recently saw its co-founder Jerry Yang resigning from the board, which saw the stocks surging. But the others were not so lucky. HP’s CEO, Mark Hurd was fired on being accused for sexually harassing actress Jodie Fisher. The move saw the company’s stocks plummet by 10 percent immediately.  Taggle saw its founder John Kuruvilla quitting the company in August 2011, and the company closed shop in December. Kuruvilla later joined technology-based services company Via.
