Bangalore: In a first ever revelation after holding the helm of Android platform at Google, replacing Andy Rubin, Sundar Pichai talked his mind about the world’s most used mobile platform Android, the facts on Google’s problem with Samsung’s dominance in Android sphere, about the co-existence of Chrome OS and Android, what to expect from upcoming Google I/O and more.

In the interview to Wired, Pichai told that his appointment as Android boss was decided on the rapid time fashion and he only came to know about it couple of weeks before the actual announcement. According to Pichai, who’s also boss of Chrome OS, both platforms are big and they will play a strong role and not merely exist, and will provide a space for friendly innovation and choice for both users and developers.
