Amigo Sports to expand via franchising

Bangalore: Amigo Sports Pvt. Ltd, a sports and casual fashion wear brands into franchising, plans to open FIFA official stores in India. Earlier, the company was the Indian licensee for FIFA official stores and FIFA merchandise.
Amigo is going to open 35 new FIFA official stores within the next two years across 30 major cities of India like Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai etc. According to company officials, these stores would be both opened by the FOFO (Franchisee owned and operated) and COCO (Company owned and operated) formats.
Amigo Sports has set up first FIFA stores at Palladium Mall, Mumbai (650 sq.ft) and Oberoi Mall, Mumbai (1,030 sq.ft). Presently, the company has a strong footprint of 49 stores across the country and has also tied up with stores like Shoppers Stop, Central and Westside to sell and promote official FIFA-branded merchandise.
