9. The Train
I would not dare call the 2005 Hollywood flick Derailed a great movie; it was an average thriller that does not deserve a comparison to any of the great thriller movies before it. Anyway the point is, it was remade into Hindi in 2007, The Train, produced by Siddhivinayak Creations and directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry. In a movie industry where good international movies are copied and made into below average movies, can a good movie be made from a bad international flick? The answer is no. The Train was loosely scripted, badly directed and pathetically acted, especially so by Sayali Bhagat. Emraan Hashmi, who had proved himself to be someone who can seriously act well, is also wasted in this movie.
