WorldSpace chooses NetMagic's services

Bangalore: WorldSpace, a leader in satellite-based digital radio services, has chosen NetMagic's host of services to enhance the operational efficiency of their customer care and billing application. WorldSpace, a global media and entertainment company offers satellite radio experience to consumers around the world. The company was putting in a new customer care and billing application but lacked a hosting facility available to run their systems. Keeping these requirements in mind, WorldSpace purchased two major enterprise-wide applications with one of them being a customer care and billing application for call centers, billing and new orders. This application needed to be hosted in India considering that their current call center was based here and that the company has focus on the Indian subcontinent. "After meetings with the NetMagic team and a walk-through of their state-of-the-art data center, we were confident we would receive the attention we needed as a customer in addition to the high quality hosting services that were so critical to our operation," said Mike Berkley, Chief Information Officer, WorldSpace. WorldSpace has signed a three year support services agreement with NetMagic.
