Wipro promises salary hike across board

Bangalore: IT major Wipro announced that it has completed the changes in the organization and will hike the salary of all its employees. The announcement of the salary hike will be done in the first week of April. However, the percentage of hike and related information regarding the hike is not been disclosed. Wipro which was insecure about its performance in the previous quarters announced that they would go under a restructuring to catch up with peers and improve its topline growth. The company had announced during its third quarter results that it will align itself to create a "bolder, simpler and leaner" organization. It also eliminated the joint CEO structure and opted for the single CEO style. It appointed TK Kurien as its CEO and IT head on February 1 who is been hoped to change the face of the company. The restructuring was done with the help of an external consulting firm which jotted out a principle strategy for the company which will be later presented to the leadership teams across the board. Also a cross-functional team is working on the data review and structure finalisation which will migrate all their data to the new organisation structure by middle of April.
