Bangalore: Wifi networks, a provider of technology solutions in communications has launched a new Digital Video Technology for terrestrial/handheld (DVB-T/H). With this technology viewers can have access to maximum number of channels of their choice on devices like TV, PC, PDA and mobile phones. "We are providing digital video broadcasting platform with the potential of facilitating mobile TV along with ordinary television viewing experience. It is a new attempt in India. Only UD Cast and Enensys in Europe are providing mobile television service," said Mohan Raju, Managing Director, Wifi Networks. "The company provides interactive video services on TV and mobile devices on revenue sharing business model," he added. In this technology, the quality of the picture and voice will remain undisturbed irrespective of the number of users. "The quality of the program will not get disturbed even if you are speeding at 120 Km per hour, says Raju. As a part of the launch, the company has also launched a voice portal of Kannada actor Pooja Gandhi. The portal will help her fans interact with her, leave a message for her and know about the actor. But the customers have to wait to experience this technology as the spectrum heat is on. "We are waiting for some service providers who have secured a license from the Government to deliver television programs," said Raju.
