Terror ignored, Indian equities end in green

Mumbai: Terror had no impact and Indian equities markets ended in the green Friday although with marginal gains.

The sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) provisionally finished at 9,097.92, up 71.20 points or 0.79 percent from its previous close at 9,026.72 points.

The broader-based 50-share S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) too closed higher at 2753.00, up 0.75 points or 0.03 percent from its previous close at 2752.25 points.

The BSE midcap too ended higher at 2,891.06, up 13.68 points or 0.48 percent from its previous close at 2,877.38 points.

The BSE smallcap, however, ended marginally in the red at 3,302.90, down 11.99 points or 0.36 percent from its previous close at 3,333.42 points.
