Tata Tea to get Rs 253 M dividend from UK unit

MUMBAI: Tata Tea Ltd will receive a dividend of Rs 253.5 million this month from its UK-based subsidiary, Tata Tea (GB) Ltd, the Bombay Stock Exchange said on Tuesday.

The unit owns Britain's Tetley Group, a blender and maker of packaged tea.

The announcement followed an interim dividend of about Rs 300 million set by Tata Tea (GB), in which the Indian company has a 84.5 per cent stake.
