MUMBAI: Global Information Technology services provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will list its scrip on the Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE), on August 25, even as it is planning to go for an overseas listing.

"The listing is slated for August 25, 2004, and the scrip will simultaneously be listed on The National Stock Exchange (NSE) also," TCS Chief Executive Officer S Ramadorai, who has been redesignated as managing director of the software major, said.

The Initial Public Offering of TCS had closed on August five, with the issue price being fixed at Rs 850 per share of Rs one each.

Company sources said the expansion of its board would be "done at a later date" and would comprise eminent people from the industry.

At present, TCS board consists of three directors: Tata group Chairman Ratan Tata, eminent banker Aman Mehta and Ramadorai.

Earlier, Tata had said TCS would also be looking at listing its shares abroad, even though he did not specify the mode and a time-frame.
