Mumbai: Wind energy major Suzlon posted a net loss of 4.69 billion in the last fiscal compared to a profit of 12.65 billion in the previous fiscal, the company said Monday.

The total income of the company grew 5.12 percent to 74.12 billion for the year ended March 31 from 70.51 billion in the previous period.

The company attributed the poor performance to the external economic environment.
