Sridharan appointed VP of General Dynamics

NEW YORK: An Indian American, N.S. Sridharan has been appointed as the Vice President of engineering programs in General Dynamics Land Systems. N.S. Sridharan, formerly vice president, propulsion systems, was promoted as vice president, engineering programs, for the business development and management of engineering programs. Sridharan, 55, joined Land Systems and its research and engineering organization in 1983 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and program management. In 1999, he was appointed vice president propulsion systems for the business development, engineering, integration, production and support of engines, transmissions, and suspensions for combat vehicles worldwide. He holds a master's degree and a Ph.D. in materials science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and undergraduate degree in metallurgy from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
