Bangalore:With the controversial 'PlayStation breach incident' from the past few days, Sony is going through complications and has apologized. Sony is being sued in a U.S. court by gamers who have accused the company of being negligent and breaching its contracts with PlayStation Network users. After apologizing, Sony promised to beef up the security and adapt an effective way and also give away plenty of video games and music to its users. A video frame on the Sony web broadcast showed three high level executives bowing down in an apology. Kazuo Hirai, head of the company's networked product division said,"We would like to extend our apologies to the many PlayStation Network and Qtriocity service users whom we caused inconvenience by compromising their personal data." Patrick Seybold, a spokesperson explained about how they would take a strong action against the hack and promised new security services. In favour of the apology, more than 300 comments from users on the post, suggested Sony to offer a series of free services in a 'welcome back' program that will begin as the Playstation network comes back online over the next week in a staggered, region-by-region recovery. As a result users will receive 30 days of free downloads and access to premium games and music. Ultimately, U.S., Britain, Australia and Hong Kong are investigating the hacking and theft of personal data which included names, gender, addresses, email addresses, birthdays and login passwords for the PlayStation network and Qriocity networks.
