Saudi budget carrier to fly to New Delhi

New Delhi: Saudi low-cost airline Nasair has announced the launch of a weekly service to New Delhi, which will be its fourth destination in India, from today. The carrier will operate three weekly flights from Riyadh to New Delhi thereby concluding its expansion plan in India, the airline has said. Nasair presently flies to three Indian destinations -- Mumbai, Cochin and Calicut. Since its launch in February 2007, the airline has grown rapidly and operates to 13 destinations within Saudi Arabia and 11 international destinations, with over 300 flights per week. It has the youngest fleet in the country and has a new generation fleet of Airbus A320''s and Embraer''s E190 aircrafts. The Airbus A320 has a capacity for 180 passengers and the Embraer E190 has a capacity for 110 passengers.
