Sharad Sharma is the new EIR of Canaan Partners
Bangalore: Sharad Sharma, former CEO of Yahoo and Syamtec, has been appointed as entrepreneur-in-residence (EIR), of Canaan Partners, a Venture Capital fund. The company is looking for the vast knowledge he brings with him in the cloud computing.

Sharing his experience with the siliconindia.com after joining Canaan, Sharad said "My goal is to build viable and a successful company and my knowledge in cloud computing will help in doing that."

The past experience with the Yahoo has really helped me a lot. "Nobody is an expert in the Cloud computing. I am trying to learn more about it," he added. Though he did not mention about his game plans for the future, he said, "It's too early for me to reveal the game plan, but there is a goal."
