Shailender Kumar to lead Quest Software in India

Bangalore: Quest Software has recently appointment of Shailender Kumar as Managing Director for its Indian operations. He will be taking over from Krishnan Thyagarajan, who will be relocating to the company?s head office at Aliso Viejo in California. Shailender has over 22 years of varied experience in the global software industry. He will be responsible for the company's business in India and the SAARC region. "Shailender Kumar is an industry veteran with a proven track record when it comes to taking organizations to the next level. India is a very important market for Quest Software and Shailender's appointment is a strong indication of our intent to growth our business in India." said Richard Moseley, Vice President- Asia Pacific and Japan, Quest Software. Shailender holds a Post Graduate degree in Management from Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad. Prior to joining Quest, he has worked at Oracle India as the Vice President. He has also worked with BEA Systems India as the Managing Director and also with the Microsoft as the Group Manager. In his new post, Shailender will play a critical role in expanding Quest Software in several dimensions - its geographic reach, depth and breadth of partner network, brand building activities, customer reach and developer relationships.
