Satyam names Bobby Gupta Business Head for Australia, New Zealand

Melbourne: IT services major Mahindra Satyam has appointed Bobby Gupta as its Sales and Business Development Head for Australia and New Zealand. Gupta, who has worked with IBM in various capacities over the past decade, will be based in Sydney.
Gupta also spent time in IBM's software and global business services divisions. His recent stint was running its Asia-Pacific telecom's expenses management practice from Canberra.
"Bobby is a great addition to our team as we continue to increase our focus on emerging technologies and verticals. He will help us to further strengthen our capabilities in verticals such as banking, retail, utilities, public services (including government) and healthcare, pharmaceutical and life sciences," said Satyam's Local Head Venki Prathivadi.
