Indian American D. Raja runs for Pennsylvania County Executive

Pittsburgh: The Indian American Mt. Lebanon Commissioner D. Raja announced his bid for Pennsylvania county executive on February 17. Raja, thus, has joined a list of candidates who have promised more jobs in the region. 45-year-old Raja owns an information technology company CEI employing over 300 people. By announcing his candidacy, Raja has joined Democratic Council president Rich Fitzgerald of Squirrel Hill and Republican Tea Party activist Patti Weaver of Fox Chapel. Other candidates include Democratic County Controller Mark Patrick Flaherty of Mt. Lebanon and Republican Councilman Charles McCullough of Upper St. Clair. Raja holds an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh. He also has an MBA degree from Carnegie Mellon.
