Defence minister Fernandes meets with accident

BIHAR: The Defence Minister George Fernandes escaped unhurt in a road accident near Biharsharif in BiharÂ’s Nalanda district late last night. The Toyota Qualis in which the Minister was traveling dashed into a parked truck near Nagar-nausa on Fatuah - Biharsharif section of the National Highway No. 82. The Minister was on his way to Rajgir circuit house after attending a function at Hilsa. Shri Fernandes later left for Patna by train on his way to Delhi.
