Facebook bans 20,000 underage users

Melbourne: Facebook is facing a new issue about its jonnies. Now the site seems to become very strict on their policies.It reveals that in spite of having their age limit policy, children lie about their age and joins the social networking site. The site bans around 20,000 children and globally they ban around seven million children, every year. The company admitted that they need to take some more actions to stop the children from using the site. They also reveal that one third of Australian population uses the site every day. Many Australian children under the age of 13 try to access the site by lying about their age. The chief privacy adviser of Facebook, Mozelle Thompson, said that it's something that happens on a regular basis and the company would hire someone to work on Australian policy issues soon. He also adds that Facebook was looking at how to control its content.
