BANGALORE: FCG Software Services India Pvt Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary of the US based First Consulting Group (NASDAQ: FCGI) has announced that it has been assessed at Level 5, the highest level of the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) of the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.

The external assessment was conducted by the Quality Assurance Institute of India. FCG India has been assessed for CMMI Level 5 for design, development and maintenance of software provided by its Bangalore center.

Using the CMMI framework, organizations benefit from improved internal business processes that increase quality, productivity and decrease cycle times, while stimulating learning and growth.

“With CMMI Level 5, we are now among a small group of elite software development organizations in the world. CMMI Level 5 is a noteworthy achievement and an indication of our commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients,” said Luther Nussbaum, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, FCG.

This assessment, combined with deep domain expertise and a blended-shore delivery model, further minimizes risk and maximizes the value that FCG brings to its clients.

"The assessment at Level 5 is the culmination of many years of continuous quality improvement efforts. FCG India has won this quality certificate from QAI India after an exhaustive evaluation of our process and in-depth interviews with associates at all levels. It is a proud day for all of us at FCG India and the global FCG organization,” said Avinash Agrawal, Managing Director, FCG India.
