BANGALORE: Exilant Consulting, Bangalore-based solutions provider, which was set up early this year by six former senior executives of Infosys, is planning to scale up its business through an acquisition.

The company, reports an Indian daily Economic Times, is in advanced stages of negotiations to acquire Fisofex, an application solutions provider with its development centre in Bangalore and offices in the US, for an undisclosed sum.

Vasudev Rao, chief executive officer of Exilant declined to comment on this development. Mr Rao, ex- senior vice-president of Infosys, had started Infosys’ China operations and Enterprise Solutions practice for the IT major.

Apart from being a solutions provider, Exilant would synergise its operations through a development centre and to this extent Fisofex acquisition would enhance its business model, said sources.
