Bangalore: CITRIX Systems, an access infrastructure provider, says it will use its Indian development team to drive innovation and technology for the company's future product and platforms. Moving forward in this direction the company launched its comprehensive access platform to target large and medium enterprises. The platform delivers on-demand access to business-critical information for any authorized user with any device and over any network. The company’s CEO, Mark Templeton said, “The platform enables 15 times faster processing while also doubling capacity at half the cost.” Since users want to access a variety of enterprise resources, are unpredictably mobile, use different devices and roam across a range of networks, the best access experience must span the entire IT infrastructure to connect information supply with demand effectively, Commenting on Netscaler acquisition, which took place last quarter, Templeton said it would enable growth in India, which is one of the top three markets for the company in Asia. Citrix meets enterprise access needs with an integrated end-to-end access platform that seamlessly connects users, devices and networks to enterprise resources enabling organizations to run IT more cost-effectively, he added.
