Bentley to acquire netGuru assets

KOLKATA: U.S. based Bentley Systems Inc. has entered into a pact with Kolkata based software development firm netGuru Inc to acquire its Research Engineers International (REI) and STAAD product lines. According to the deal, Bentley will buy worldwide assets of REI including the STAAD structural analysis and design product lines for $23.5 million. Bentley, which provides software solutions for architecture, engineering and construction, will also acquire REI’s software and product development customer support and offices in Yorba Linda, CA, Bristol, U.K. Kolkata and sales office in Europe and Asia.
