Lucknow: India's largest telecom provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will soon slash its international call charges to Nepal, a top company official said here Saturday.

"As per the new rates, the BSNL subscribers calling to Nepal will have to pay 9 per minute instead of the present rate of 12," said BSNL general manager for marketing Rajesh Kumar.

"The new charges to Nepal can be implemented from Aug 1 itself," said the official.
