BANGALORE: Automated Workflow Pvt. Ltd. (AWPL), a leading provider of industry specific Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, has announced the launch of BPO.Sphere, a complete BPM solution designed to meet the process automation requirements of BPO companies.

The Indian BPO industry faces numerous challenges. There is pressure from customers to ensure SLA times are met. Operational inefficiencies in BPOs have also increased and identifying bottlenecks in processes is time consuming. Almost all organisations in this space are adding personnel to keep up with client demands and subsequently increasing their cost factor.

BPO.Sphere addresses these challenges by automating processes such as back-end insurance application processing, customer service, data entry and verification services, data capture and image processing, transaction processing services and a host of other back-end non-voice based services for BPO organisations.

BPO.Sphere is built on IBM MQ Workflow Process Engine and has the ability to track and eliminate operational inefficiencies in BPO organizations, enable identification of process bottlenecks and take corrective measures. The product also uses leading IBM technologies like IBM Content Manager and IBM WebSphere Suite.

IBM has recognized Automated Workflow as one of its key ISV Advantage Partners in Asia-Pacific, providing solutions around the Content Management, Workflow and BPM areas. Owing to the vast skill base on IBM Technologies, the ISV initiative enables Automated Workflow to use IBM Software in providing Best-of-Breed solutions for customers.

"The BPO industry is a process centric industry which means that as an industry it maps on well to our product range. We perceive an escalation in expectations and demands on BPO providers by customers which can only be delivered by process automation and workflow management. We are confident that the product will be well received by the BPO industry. Our go to market strategy with IBM will provide us the competitive edge and wider reach in the market," said Mr. Sunil Savara, Chief Executive Officer, Automated Workflow

BPO.Sphere enables BPO organisations to scale up operations and expand market reach, while also facilitating operational efficiency. It is equipped to provide definite cost savings and enhance the competitive capabilities of BPO firms. BPO organisations are provided with a graphical representation of the work, which allows for more efficient managing and monitoring of personnel workloads. It also provides definitive cost advantage by enabling BPOs to service a larger client base with the existing personnel. The product also ensures greater customer satisfaction by meeting SLA requirements more efficiently and improving customer response times.
