Positive reviews of the movie is pulling crowd to the theatres even during the weekdays. The film can be boasted of its widest releases in India with a screen count of 3,500, a catalyst for the film to perform well at the box office.

The film is said to be a different venture from the action titan Akshay. "'Holiday” is an amazing film on what terrorism is all about and how the army tries to capture the sleeper cells," added Akshay.

So far “Holiday” has accumulated 56.37 crore nett and is expected to gross more than 100 crore by the end of the second week, stated Vishal Anand of Fun Cinemas. 'Holiday' has to be the biggest film to have released in the new financial year. It did good business over the weekend and it should easily be able to join the 100 crore club,” he added.
