It seems like Nokia is determined to make your skin a part of the phone. Consider this patent, which would allow a phone to alert you using various types of vibrations on your skin. So if your future Lumia Smartphone rings, you would know it by the vibrating bird tattoo on your skin. The phone will alert you using a tattoo or other marking to send a "perceivable stimulus to the skin." It can be like a single vibration for a call from friend and two pinches, if it’s your mom.

 This patent belongs to one of the early superstars in tablet making- Palm, which got killed after it is acquired by HP.  The patent has a bendable display, which can be used in devices, especially the heavy tablets. It even had an iPad stylus, patented 9 years before the actual iPad’s launch.
