7. Sallie Krawcheck
President of Global Wealth and Investment Management Unit

Sallie L. Krawcheck is the former president of the Global Wealth & Investment Management division of Bank of America. GWIM includes Merrill Lynch and U.S. Krawcheck spent her childhood in Charleston, South Carolina and went to the exclusive Porter-Gaud School. In 1992, she did her MBA from Columbia Business School, graduating “Beta Gamma Sigma.”

Krawcheck joined Citigroup at 2002 and became the CFO in just two years in 2004 and by 2007 she was CEO of Citi’s wealth management business. Later down the line she joined back bank of America and is presently the President of Global Wealth and Investment Management Unit with 15,000 financial advisors over $2.1 trillion in assets.

Wall Street Journal reported this year, “When you leave and the three-year-old is crying, ‘Don't go Mommy, don't go,’ you have to have a heart of stone not to feel guilt. But I never showed fear. I had a certainty that I loved what I was doing. It was good for my family. And so I was pretty steady about it."
