Anirudh Prabhu

Anirudh Prabhu chose a mathematical topic, “Lower Bounds for Odd Perfect Numbers,” This 16 year old guy is from West Lafayette school in India. In his project he came up with the first nontrivial analytic lower bonds for odd perfect numbers. His work could be a real contribution to data encryption technology. Since primary school he has been taking accelerated courses in math and science. He has also come up with research papers on the topics- ‘Integral Transforms and Special Functions’ and ‘International Journal of Contemporary Mathematics’. Presently he is attending a senior-level college course in algebra. He aims to build a research career focusing two areas-mathematics and physics.
