Richa Pandey Mishra, founder of eJeevika, has been awarded with many prestigious awards like ‘Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2010. eJeevika provides training to rural youth in Tamil Nadu for employment in high growth industries.

According to Mishra, women who start businesses have an extra burden to handle. She said to ET, "I am married and have twins. I do not want to miss out on their childhood so I ensure that I spend time with them as well.” She feels while the challenges of venturing and handling a business are quite same for a woman or man, but women carry the added responsibility of managing home as well.
