NIIT Germany to provide manpower

New Delhi: NIIT Technologies AG, the German subsidiary of NIIT Technologies Ltd India, will now provide manpower support to Germany's leading service provider DB Systems GmbH during peak production time. NIIT Technologies AG and DB Systems have signed an agreement to this effect under which the former will provide IT specialists and developers and work as an "extended workbench" for the latter. "The cooperation with NIIT Technologies AG provides DB Systems with access to personnel, while minimizing the associated risks and costs and supports the goals we've set within a growth and diversification-based strategy," Robert Simmeth, chairman (management board) in DB Systems, said in a statement. With this, NIIT Technologies AG is making available offshore services to the German market and is positioning itself as a capable offshoring partner for the development of cost-optimizing IT solutions.
