The video post production services industry includes all the businesses which prepare motion pictures for being distributed to the public. In general the activities carried out in the industry include post-processing of video content; audio editing; adding the closing captions, subtitles or dubbing; creating or inserting graphics; creating the credits; formatting content for various media; and promotional activities.
The post production industry was named as one of the 'Dying Industries', as the services offered by the high end post houses have been taken over by the video editing software, which saves time and money; thereby killing the video post production services.
