#2 Microsoft Looking For an Entry Point
Microsoft finds itself in the pickle of the PC world. Microsoft clearly leads the domain of computers but that species is not likely to evolve any further. Therefore, they set out to venture other markets like the gaming arena with X-box, they gave good competition to Play station but then play station came out with their portable device Play Station Portable PSP and now they have entered the mobile market with the Windows Phone 8, which largely is a replica of the Windows 8 OS built for the PC.
Quiet recently Microsoft released Outlook.com which replaced hotmail but how much will that help them? Then PC leader released the new Office on the cloud which is available for rent, but wait here’s the spice, it is not compatible with Mac OS – apply cold water to the burnt area.
So where is Microsoft now? They are new in a market which is already being dominated by Android and iOS, Xbox does not hold enough potential to make substantial profit for the Redmont giant, they have openly cut ties with Apple and they are the leader in the PC which is soon going to be a thing of the past, isn’t it already?
