Don’t play the woman card
The experts warn not to take advantage of being a woman and seeking favors. If the job demands frequent travelling, working late or work during weekends, don’t ask for a different treatment just because you are a woman. “It creates unfair practices at work and you hurt you career. At the end of the day, you want to be respected by your bosses and colleagues,” says Akila Krishnakumar.
