Narendra Modi:
Narendra Modi is one of the most ‘social’ politicians and is very active on social networks. His YouTube channel, started way back in 2007 has more than 17000 subscribers, while his Twitter account has 13, 73,475 followers. He is active on Facebook too. Modi even had 3D broadcasts of the speeches during the 2012 Assembly elections that led him to enter the Guinness Book of World Records.

Modi has certainly realized the power of social media. His updates are mostly inspiring quotes of Swami Vivekananda and scriptures, as well as information about his recent activities. Most notably, he is a person who stands against internet censorship and has strongly criticized the government’s move to block Twittter handles, etc. Further, recently it was announced that Modi is the only Indian Chief Minister to be invited to address the Google Big Tent Activate Summit 2013 on March 21 through Google+ hangout on the theme 'Technology in Politics'. He was the first Indian politician to use Google+ Hangouts to interact with people.
