Smitha Vishveshwara
Smitha is an associate physics professor at Illinois University who was honoured with ‘National Science Foundation Career Award’ in 2007. She is planning to research on the topological features and quantum dynamics of powerfully correlated systems with the help of this fellowship. Earlier, she was recognized with the NSF American Competitiveness and Innovation Fellow and Center for Advanced Studies Beckman Fellow. She took a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from California University at Santa Barbara and received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
