Symbian Search App

The ultimate search engine, Google has been offering its search app for devices runs on Symbian OS for quite a long time. Now finding it an aged and out-dated product, the company has planned to withdraw the app by 2013.

Instead of using Symbian Search App, Google wants its users to bookmark Google Search home page  or make it as their home page in Symbian based devices. Google also plans to change the paradigm of search for Android based devices, with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update which is set to arrive later this month.

Though Google’s Symbian Search App, one of the aged products, would face termination, the company has not yet announced exactly when it would be closed.
