Google Mini

Google Mini, a productive enterprise appliance established since 2005, has to share the same destiny of closure with other products closely at the end of this month.

It is getting closed down as the company has found out that it offered redundant services that are provided by other Google products.  

But as the company blog post says it should be noted that they are not exiting the service literally, rather the same functions will be carried out by the other services such as Google Search Appliance, Google Site Search and Google Commerce Search.

The company has also said that it would continue to support those customers who are still under contract with the product.
