Next, an incubation ground for future technologies.  The company reported about 88 percent of its total revenues from its marketing services and search advertising. The profits for 2010 stood at $855 million, whereas the tax paid was a negative $82 million, a fall of 9.6 percent. Though less than Pepco and GE, why does a company, which stores over 150 TB of the database of all U.S. taxpayers, shun taxes itself? Is it joining the list of U.S. companies who are trying every possible means to pay the least amount to the government?
