4 Controversies that Shook India's Political Dynasties

The Owaisi family
Akbaruddin Owaisi is the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader who is known for the controversial stir ups by his hate-speeches. Belonging to influential Owaisi family, Akbaruddin is the floor leader of his party in the Andhra Pradesh assembly. Akbaruddin has constantly alleged in his speeches that the Indian state had 'abandoned' the Muslims to their fate.
His elder brother, MP Asaduddin, has equally been part of fiery speeches both inside and outside Parliament. In December 2012, Akbaruddin said at a public meeting in Adilabad that the 250 million Muslims of India needed only 15 minutes without the police to show one billion Hindus of India who is more powerful.
This led to the arrest of Owaisi brothers recently under sections 153-A for promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, section 147 for rioting, section  186 for obstructing public servant while discharging duties and seven other sections of the Indian penal Code.
