Bangalore: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram may have got relief from a court in the 2G-spectrum case, but there are enough evidences against him and one day he would go to jail, BJP leader Maneka Gandhi on Sunday said. "Chidambaram may have got relief from the court in 2G spectrum case, but there are enough evidences against him and one day he would go to jail," Maneka said while talking to reporters after addressing a rally in favour of a party candidate at Dataganj here. A special CBI court yesterday dismissed Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy's plea to make the Union Minister a co-accused in the 2G scam case. On a question on who would be the chief minister if BJP was voted to power in UP, the MP said that she was not an astrologer and whosoever becomes the CM should be honest and dedicated. Blaming Mayawati for liquor baron Ponty Chaddha's rise, Maneka alleged that the chief minister sold sugar mills worth crores of rupees to him at throwaway prices. She also claimed that Mayawati has purchased three bungalows in posh area of Delhi. Condemning the woman who hurled a slipper at SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav during a rally in Banda yesterday she said that the trend which started in a foreign country was wrong.
