Mayawati is the head of the Bahujan Samaj Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, served four terms in the office. She bid to do her best for the Dalits, which paved her path to the top of UP politics. Her leadership certainly has a great impact on the politics of UP even after she has been replaced as the Chief Minister of the state.It was while she was preparing for IAS exams in 1977, Kanshi Ram, the founder of the Bahujan Samaj Party inspired Mayawati to join politics.She has been praised for her fund raising efforts. She is caught in controversies and corruption charges. She is frequently criticized for her attempts to gain personal glory and accumulate wealth, but it has not budged her followers from placing their trust in her.
