Ocean's Trilogy
A series of three caper farces directed by Steven Sodrebergh defines the smooth, cool criminal and brought together an array of Hollywood stars. Directed between 2001 and 2007, the first of the movies, Ocean's Eleven (2001) was a remake of the 1960 movie of the same name and was followed by sequels Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007) due to immense commercial success. Elements like heist films and con artist films are well combined and presented in a slick, cool style with emphasis on humor and lightheartedness. The absence of gun play and violence is another notable characteristic along with script written in a perfect characterization of all the actors.
