Bangalore: Who doesn't like movies with twists? If you are a fan of movies that tend to throw you for a loop, we have just the thing for you. Cons and Scams have had a pride of place in Hollywood. Though we might never know what makes con movies so interesting to watch- whether it is the scam taking place or the underdog winning or even someone getting looted- it is one of the favorite genres of movies. Though it wasn't one of the easiest lists to assemble, here is a list of the greatest con movies made in Hollywood.
The Sting
Released in 1973, The Sting is one of those movies that has it all- a great story, great performances, eye candy and Robert Redford of course! The classic duo of Paul Newman and Robert Redford is definitely a reason enough to watch the movie but this Gregory Hill directed classic is an essence of the con artist movie. The story revolves around two men working together to seek revenge on a Chicago crime boss responsible for the death of one of the greatest con men mentors of all time. What they pull off in the end is one of the most famous movie cons ever. Classic laughs, great lines and just a fun movie!
