Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is located in the centre of Asia and has been considered as the most dangerous country in the world because of the decades of war. It has also been the largest producer of refugees and asylum seekers. Afghanistan is home to terrorist groups such as Haqqani network and Hezbi Islami. These groups were a part of the Taliban led insurgency which included several assassinations and suicide attacks. These insurgents were responsible for 75 percent of civilian casualties in 2010 according to the United Nations.
