A success in Thailand has brought the manufacturers of Toyota Avanza to India with repeating the success story of beating all sales margins in the country. It is comparatively smaller and cheaper to the Innova which was the company’s prior launch in the auto market. It has a 1.5 L petrol engine with 4 cylinder DOHC 16 valve matted built on WTi technology. With a maximum power of 6000rpm it has a maximum fuel capacity of 45 litres. It also has an engine capacity of 1495cc with the emission levels being really low making it one of the eco friendly cars in the market.

This car will be manufactured with 1,998 to 2,359cc 4 in-line DOHC engine with 2L MPI & 2.4L GDI with light weight of 1496 to 1528 kg. The car will be available both in petrol and diesel engines. With a power of 198 bhp it is estimated to beat all its competitors.  The petrol model will be launched prior to the diesel model. The exterior and interior looks of the car are believed to overshadow its predecessors.
