#2 Over 350 million people suffer from Facebook Addiction Disorder (FAD)

The era of text messaging being the biggest teenage obsession was gone. And so long gone are the days where the biggest worries for parents were celebrity crushes, massive phone bills from ridiculously long phone calls and chocolate overloads. Now it obsession is all about Facebook.

An American psychologist believes that FAD, or Facebook Addiction Disorder, is a condition that is defined by hours spent on Facebook, so much time in fact that the healthy balance of the individual’s life is affected. #1 Al Pacino was the first ‘face' on Facebook

If you are a long term Facebook user, than you would have come across a sad-looking blue guy on Facebook's homepage who used to stare you down every time you went to log in. They did away with him in 2007; anyway according to David Kirkpatrick's The Facebook Effect , it turns out that that guy in the logo, created by Zuckerberg's friend and classmate Andrew McCollum, was none other than a young Al Pacino “covered with a fog of ones and zeros — the elementary components of digital media.” (Source: The Big Money)
