As well as managing manufacturing operations at Intel Israel, Fassberg oversees fabrication plants in Kiryat Gat and Jerusalem and a design center in Haifa, and handles Government Relations with the Israeli government.

Fassberg, the Master’s Degree holder in Applied Chemistry from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, joined Intel in 1983. Beginning as an engineer, she gradually grew to acquire the position of General Manager in the year 2007.

She has got a patent in her fame for developing a way of forming a protective polyimide layer over a semiconductor.

Fassberg was inducted as a WITI Hall of Fame in 2009. What attracted Carolyn Leighton to Fassberg is that she is a mentor for every young sprouting tech leaders, no matter what gender they belong to.
